1. Driver Terms (v1.0)
- Driver account. Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for everything done under it and for keeping your credentials secure.
- Contractor relationship. You operate as an independent contractor or through your own registered business. Nothing here creates an employment relationship, partnership, or agency with ParcelRide.
- Manual approval. Driver accounts are gated. You may not accept or perform deliveries until ParcelRide has reviewed your application and approved your account.
- Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate identity, driving licence, vehicle, and insurance information when requested, and to keep it up to date.
- Manual verification. ParcelRide may contact you to manually verify your identity, driving licence, vehicle, and insurance details before approval and at any time afterwards. Approval does not certify that any particular check has been performed unless ParcelRide states so.
- Compliance. You agree to follow ParcelRide platform rules, applicable law, and the lawful instructions given through the platform.
- Suspension & rejection. ParcelRide may suspend or reject a driver account at any time where these terms or our trust & safety requirements are not met.
- Changes. ParcelRide may update these terms. Continued use after a new version takes effect requires acceptance of the updated terms.
2. Individual Contractor Agreement (v1.0)
If you operate as an individual (rather than through a registered company), the following also applies:
- Independent contractor. You provide delivery services as an independent individual contractor and acquire no employment rights through this agreement.
- Responsibility for delivery work. You are the party responsible for the delivery work you accept, including operating a roadworthy vehicle and holding the licences and insurance required by law.
- Taxes & obligations. You are solely responsible for your own taxes, social contributions, and any registrations required to operate lawfully in your country.
- Provision of information. You agree to provide and, on request, evidence the identity, driving licence, vehicle, and insurance details relied on for approval, and to notify ParcelRide if any of them lapse or change.
- Platform rules. You agree to perform deliveries in accordance with ParcelRide platform rules and the order instructions provided through the platform.
- Term & suspension. ParcelRide may suspend or end your access to delivery work in line with the Driver Terms. You may stop offering services at any time.
